How do I schedule an appointment?

How long are sessions?

For Adults, the initial evaluation typically includes one visit for the patient interview, with a second visit for treatment planning if needs are complex. 

​

For children, adolescents, and emerging adults, the intake consists of a three part evaluation: parent interview, patient interview, and treatment planning session.

 

Visit Types

  1. New Patient Intake:  Approximately 1 hour

  2. Child/Adolescent Interview:  Approximately 1 hour

  3. Comprehensive Psychiatric Treatment Planning Session:  Approximately 1 hour

  4. Standard Follow-Up Visit:  20-30 minutes

  5. Extended Follow-Up Visit:  30-50 minutes

What is your cancellation policy?

We require 24 hours notice for all cancellations. Please note that cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur the full session fee.

Payments & Insurance

We function as an out-of-network provider with all insurance plans, requiring payment at the time of service. Upon request, we will provide an invoice that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement depending on your out of network coverage.

We accept all major credit cards, including FSA/HSA. Your card will be kept on file and charged following each session.

Questions to ask your Insurance Company

Please call your insurance company directly to ask about your medical and mental health coverage.  You may inquire regarding your out-of-network deductible amount.  Relevant CPT codes for services provided at the Northshore Wellness Center include 90792, 99204, 99214, 99215, and 90833.
